Service Desk Analyst

Full Time | Fort Dodge, IA

The Service Desk Analyst will provide remote, phone & email based, first level technical support to staff and faculty at Iowa Central Community College (ICCC). This position requires an aptitude for working with applications/systems to undertake analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of problems, which may range from straightforward to more complicated technical issues. This position will focus on First Call Resolution (FCR) and as needed will escalate the incident to the Customer Support Technicians and other areas of the Technology Services department.

Customer Support Technician

Full Time | Fort Dodge, IA

The Customer Support Technician provides direct support of computers, peripheral equipment, software, and converged educational technology through the Customer Support Services Team (CSS) at Iowa Central Community College. This includes all equipment from the network’s edge to the end user and encompasses a wide range of computer and audio/visual peripherals including, but not limited to, projectors, displays, document cameras, audio amplification and similar equipment. The position provides operational support and incident resolution for both individual components and systems and works closely with end-users to solve both technical and operational problems. The Customer Support Technician will document solutions and to work closely with the Customer Services Support Team, the Service Desk, and the System Administrators to efficiently resolve issues.

A/V Service Technician

The AV/Computer Service Technician will participate in the oversight, delivery, and support of Computers and AV related technology delivery systems and services. Through a team- based environment, this position will maintain and support AV systems utilizing thorough and clear documentation, along with industry best practices. This position will repair and replace hardware components in computers and AV equipment. This position will participate in project-based teams from conception through execution and will train others in the use and support of these systems.

Customer Service Manager

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for leading the Service Center Supervisor and Tech Support Supervisor who manage the Kirkwood Community College’s computing endpoints and will ensure that policies and procedures set by the Leadership Team are applied consistently. This candidate will organize and coordinate endpoint deployment and break- fix efforts by the day-to-day coaching of the Service Center Supervisor and the Tech Support Supervisor, ensuring efficient and accurate resolution of incidents and requests. This position will focus on First Contact Resolution (FCR) and will directly interface with the Computer Support Services Incident & Service Request Teams to escalate the resolution of all remaining issues. In addition, the candidate will coordinate the creation of self-help documentation, based on trending of common questions, and work closely with the Service Center Supervisor and the Tech Support Supervisor in developing training content. The Customer Support Technician will document solutions and to work closely with the Customer Services Support Team, the Service Desk, and the System Administrators to efficiently resolve issues.

Service Technician Specialist

The Service Technician Specialist at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) will participate in the oversight, delivery, and support of Computers and AV related technology delivery systems and services. This position will maintain and support AV systems utilizing industry best practices. They will repair and replace hardware components in computers and AV equipment. The Service Technician Specialist will create, maintain, and update projects from conception through execution and will train others in the use and support of these projects. This position will create, maintain, and update all supporting documentation for the usage, installation, and support of all AV equipment. They will work alongside the Helpdesk team as well as take Helpdesk calls and train the Helpdesk Technicians as well as provide documentation on troubleshooting AV equipment.

Utilizing a developed tracking system, this position will be required to record the usability of technology equipment throughout the college campus.
